The Best Juicers Under $100

There is real capability in this band, including one masticating machine. There are also two things you reliably give up.

Under $100 buys a working juicer, and in one case a working cold press juicer. What it reliably costs you is noise and warranty length -- not, as commonly assumed, the ability to juice. The machines in this band extract juice. The question is which produce, how loudly, and for how many years.

What this band genuinely gives you

  • A wide chute. Hamilton Beach and Mueller both state 3 in, the same as Breville's JE98XL at double the price. Whole apples, no chopping.
  • Serious power. Mueller states 1100 W. Hamilton Beach states 800 W. Neither will stall on a carrot.
  • Dishwasher-safe parts. Stated by Hamilton Beach and BLACK+DECKER, which removes most of the cleanup objection at this price.
  • Occasionally a better warranty than the premium shelf. Hamilton Beach's 3 years and Mueller's 2 both beat Breville's and Ninja's 1.
  • One real cold press option. AMZCHEF's ZM1501, which is what makes this band viable for anybody juicing greens.

What you give up

Noise, mostly. Three of the four machines here are centrifugal, and a basket turning at 12,000 to 18,000 RPM is loud in a way that specifications do not convey. If you live in an apartment or have somebody asleep in the morning, this is the real constraint, and the quietest juicers is a different page with different machines on it.

Build longevity. The parts are lighter and the housings are plastic. None of these brands quotes the 15 years that Omega, Hurom and Kuvings do, and that gap is a reasonable signal of what each company expects.

Capacity. BLACK+DECKER's 10 oz pitcher means stopping mid-glass. If you are juicing for two people, that friction adds up fast.

The one trap in this band

Buying a cheap centrifugal machine for celery juice. It is the most common and most expensive mistake a first-time buyer makes here, because the price looks like a low-risk experiment and the result is a machine that does not do the one job it was bought for.

If celery is the plan, the only option in this band is the AMZCHEF, and if that is out of stock the honest advice is to save up for a $100-200 cold press machine rather than buy a centrifugal one and hope. See juicers for celery for why the mechanism matters this much.

A shopping basket of fresh vegetables
Over a year, produce costs more than any machine in this band. That is worth factoring in before optimizing the purchase price.

The picks in full

1. Best under $100 overall

AMZCHEF ZM1501

AMZCHEF ZM1501 · Under $100 · Our score 7.1/10

The only masticating machine we found listed under $100, which makes it the only sub-$100 option that handles celery and leafy greens properly. AMZCHEF states 90 RPM, 150 W, a reverse function, and operation below 60 decibels -- a published noise figure, which premium brands at six times the price do not provide. The catch is warranty confusion: AMZCHEF states 2 years, some listings show 1, and the brand store advertises 3. Read the terms of the listing you buy from.

AMZCHEF states 90 RPM, 150 W, with a reverse functionManufacturer claim: AMZCHEF · checked 2026-10-02

What works

  • Masticating mechanics under $100
  • One of very few machines at any price that publishes a decibel figure
  • Reverse function for clearing jams

What does not

  • Warranty terms differ between the brand store and third-party listings - read the one you buy from
  • Small chute, so prep is heavy
  • No yield or cleanup figure published

Skip this if: You expect premium build. At this price the warranty is short and the parts are light - treat it as a trial machine.

2. Best fast juicer under $100

Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juice Extractor

Hamilton Beach 67601A · Under $100 · Our score 6.7/10

If greens are not your plan, this is the sensible buy. Hamilton Beach states 800 W, a 3 in chute that takes a whole apple, and -- the genuinely notable part -- a 3-year limited warranty, triple what Breville offers on machines costing twice as much. Every part that touches juice is dishwasher safe per Hamilton Beach. It is loud and it is centrifugal, so celery and kale are off the menu.

What works

  • 3-year warranty, which is unusual under $100
  • Every part that touches juice is dishwasher safe, per Hamilton Beach
  • 3 in chute at a budget price

What does not

  • Centrifugal, so it is poor at celery and greens
  • No RPM published
  • Loud, as all high-speed spinning juicers are

Skip this if: Celery juice is the plan. This is the wrong mechanism for it at any price.

3. Most power under $100

Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra

Mueller Ultra 1100 W · Under $100 · Our score 6.2/10

Mueller states dual speeds spanning 12,000 to 18,000 RPM at 1100 W, with a 3 in chute and an Italian-made micro-mesh filter, plus a 2-year warranty. That is the most motor in the band and it will chew through hard carrots and beets without complaint. It is also the fastest figure in our entire registry, which means it is the loudest machine here and the most aggressive on soft produce.

What works

  • Most power under $100
  • Dual speed for soft and hard produce
  • 2-year warranty at a budget price

What does not

  • Up to 18,000 RPM, which is the loudest and most oxidizing setup here
  • Centrifugal mechanics, so it is the wrong tool for celery and greens
  • No published yield or cleanup data

Skip this if: Noise matters at all. 18,000 RPM on the high setting is the fastest figure in this registry.

4. Cheapest way to find out if you will juice

BLACK+DECKER JE2200B

BLACK+DECKER JE2200B · Under $100 · Our score 5.5/10

Roughly a third the price of anything else here. BLACK+DECKER states 400 W, a 2-year limited warranty, and dishwasher-safe collector, pitcher, blades and strainer. 400 W struggles with hard carrots and beets, and the pitcher is 10 oz, so you will be emptying it constantly. As a test of whether juicing will become a habit, it costs about the same as four cafe juices and answers the question honestly.

  • 10 oz pitcher means emptying constantly
  • No yield, pulp or cleanup data published

The arithmetic worth doing first

A sub-$100 juicer is cheaper than about a dozen cafe juices, so on purchase price alone it pays for itself quickly. The cost that surprises people is produce: a single cup of green juice takes considerably more raw material than most people estimate. How much celery one cup takes does that arithmetic, and juicing on a budget covers how to keep the running cost down once the machine is paid for.

Questions people ask

Can you get a decent juicer for under $100?
Yes. Under $100 buys a 3 in chute, 800 to 1100 W, dishwasher-safe parts and in Hamilton Beach's case a 3-year warranty. It also buys one genuine masticating machine, the AMZCHEF ZM1501. What it does not buy is a quiet machine or a 15-year warranty.
Is there a cold press juicer under $100?
The AMZCHEF ZM1501 is the one we found consistently listed below $100. AMZCHEF states 90 RPM, 150 W and a reverse function. Warranty terms differ between the brand store and third-party listings, so check the specific listing.
Will a cheap juicer handle celery?
Only if it is masticating. A cheap centrifugal machine will produce some celery juice but the long fibers largely ride the basket into the pulp bin, and that is the mechanism rather than the price.
Are cheap juicers loud?
The centrifugal ones are, yes. Mueller states speeds up to 18,000 RPM, which is the fastest figure in our registry. Very few brands publish a decibel number at all -- AMZCHEF's under-60 dB claim is a rare exception and that is a masticating machine.
How long will a sub-$100 juicer last?
The warranties are the only honest guide: BLACK+DECKER and Mueller state 2 years, Hamilton Beach states 3, AMZCHEF states 2 with conflicting listings. None of them quotes the 15 years the premium cold press brands do.
