The Best Budget Centrifugal Juicers

Under $100 buys 800 to 1100 watts, a 3 inch chute and sometimes a longer warranty than a $400 machine.

Budget centrifugal machines are the most misunderstood corner of juicing. They are not weak imitations of expensive juicers -- on the produce this mechanism suits, a $70 machine with a 3 in chute does substantially the same job as a $400 one. What you give up is noise, build quality and capacity, not the ability to make juice.

The warranty row is not a typo. Hamilton Beach states 3 years on a sub-$100 machine; Breville states 1 on both of its.

The genuine gaps are capacity and refinement. 70 fl oz versus 28 oz is the difference between a family batch in one pass and three stops. And Breville's machines are quieter, better finished and better at dealing with soft fruit gently. Whether those are worth $330 is a real question rather than a rhetorical one.

Scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen. Every figure above is labeled with where it came from; “Not available” means we could not find a published source, not that the machine performs badly. How we pick.

Noise is the real cost

Mueller states up to 18,000 RPM. That is the fastest figure in our registry and it is loud in a way no specification sheet conveys. None of these brands publishes a decibel number -- in fact the only machine on this entire site with a published noise figure is a masticating one, AMZCHEF's claim of under 60 dB.

If you live in an apartment, share a wall, or juice before anyone else is awake, this band is a poor fit and the quietest juicers is a different page with different machines on it. The workaround is batching at a civil hour rather than buying a quieter model.

Over a year the produce costs more than any machine on this page. That is the number worth optimizing.

The picks in full

1. Best budget centrifugal overall

Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juice Extractor

Hamilton Beach 67601A · Under $100 · Our score 6.7/10

800 W, a 3 in chute, and a 3-year limited warranty -- longer than Breville quotes on a machine costing four times as much. Hamilton Beach also states that the pusher, cover, strainer, pulp bin and strainer bowl are all removable and dishwasher safe, which is the entire cleanup story on a centrifugal machine. No RPM published, and it is loud.

Hamilton Beach states an 800 W motor; no RPM publishedManufacturer claim: Hamilton Beach · checked 2026-10-02

What works

  • 3-year warranty, which is unusual under $100
  • Every part that touches juice is dishwasher safe, per Hamilton Beach
  • 3 in chute at a budget price

What does not

  • Centrifugal, so it is poor at celery and greens
  • No RPM published
  • Loud, as all high-speed spinning juicers are

Skip this if: Celery juice is the plan. This is the wrong mechanism for it at any price.

2. Most power

Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra

Mueller Ultra 1100 W · Under $100 · Our score 6.2/10

Mueller states 1100 W with dual speeds from 12,000 to 18,000 RPM, a 3 in chute, an Italian-made micro-mesh filter and a 2-year warranty. Nothing in this band handles hard carrots and beets more easily. It is also the fastest and therefore loudest machine in our whole registry, and the hard setting is rough on soft fruit.

Mueller states dual speed: 12,000-15,000 RPM low and 15,000-18,000 RPM high, 1100 WManufacturer claim: Mueller · checked 2026-10-02

What works

  • Most power under $100
  • Dual speed for soft and hard produce
  • 2-year warranty at a budget price

What does not

  • Up to 18,000 RPM, which is the loudest and most oxidizing setup here
  • Centrifugal mechanics, so it is the wrong tool for celery and greens
  • No published yield or cleanup data

Skip this if: Noise matters at all. 18,000 RPM on the high setting is the fastest figure in this registry.

3. Cheapest working juicer

BLACK+DECKER JE2200B

BLACK+DECKER JE2200B · Under $100 · Our score 5.5/10

BLACK+DECKER states 400 W, a 2-year limited warranty, dishwasher-safe collector, pitcher, blades and strainer, and a 9 x 9 x 13 in footprint that genuinely fits in a cupboard. The limits are real: 400 W struggles with the hardest produce and the pitcher is 10 oz, less than one glass. As a test of whether you will juice at all, it answers the question honestly.

  • Dishwasher-safe parts

What does not

  • 400 W struggles with hard carrots and beets
  • 10 oz pitcher means emptying constantly
  • No yield, pulp or cleanup data published

Skip this if: You juice daily, or you juice hard produce. 400 W and a 10 oz pitcher are a trial setup, not a habit setup.

Is a cheap juicer false economy?

Not if the mechanism matches your produce. A $70 Hamilton Beach machine with a 3-year warranty juicing apples and carrots is a sound purchase that will outlast its warranty. It becomes false economy in exactly one situation: when it was bought for produce it cannot handle, in which case you will buy a second machine and the first was wasted.

So the question to settle before spending anything is not how much to spend. It is which mechanism you need. Masticating vs centrifugal settles it in one table.

Questions people ask

What is the best cheap juicer?
Hamilton Beach's Big Mouth: 800 W, a 3 in chute, dishwasher-safe parts and a 3-year limited warranty for well under $100. Mueller's Austria Ultra is the pick if you want maximum power for hard produce.
Are cheap juicers worth buying?
Yes, provided the mechanism matches your produce. A budget centrifugal machine juicing apples and carrots is a sound purchase. The same machine bought for celery juice is a waste, and that is about mechanism rather than price.
How long do cheap juicers last?
The warranties are the most honest guide: Hamilton Beach states 3 years, Mueller 2, BLACK+DECKER 2. That compares favorably with Breville's 1 year, which is a genuinely surprising comparison.
Is a $400 juicer four times better than a $100 one?
No. Within the centrifugal category the extra money buys capacity, finish and quietness. There is no published yield data from any of these brands, so an extraction claim either way is unsupported.
Can a budget juicer handle leafy greens?
A budget centrifugal one cannot, and that is the mechanism rather than the price. The only sub-$100 machine we found that can is AMZCHEF's masticating ZM1501.
