The Best Juicers Under $200

The most interesting price band in juicing right now. Genuine cold press mechanics live here, and the only real compromise is warranty length.

We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. It does not change what we recommend or the order we rank things in. Full disclosure.

Under $200 is where juicing got genuinely good. Five years ago this band was centrifugal-only; today it holds four cold press machines, one of them with a mesh-free filter design that used to be a premium feature. If you are buying a first juicer and greens are in the plan, this is the band to shop in.

What changed in this band

Two things. First, the cold press mechanism itself stopped being premium -- Nutribullet's 65 RPM machine and Ninja's JC151 are both real masticating juicers at prices that used to buy a basic centrifugal one. Second, cleanup engineering trickled down: Cuisinart's mesh-free filter does the same job as Hurom's strainer-free design at a third of the price, with less refinement.

What has not trickled down is warranty. Omega, Hurom and Kuvings all quote 15 years on their premium machines. In this band you get one year from Ninja and Nutribullet, and three from Cuisinart. That spread is the clearest real difference between the bands, and it is worth weighing honestly against the four hundred dollars it costs to cross it.

The four sub-$200 picks against the four criteria. Scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen. Every figure above is labeled with where it came from; “Not available” means we could not find a published source, not that the machine performs badly. How we pick.

Cold press or centrifugal, inside this band

You can have either for the same money here, which makes the mechanism question unavoidable rather than budget-driven. The short version:

If your list includesBuyBecause
Celery, kale, chard, spinach, wheatgrassCold press (Cuisinart, Ninja or Nutribullet)An auger crushes along a fiber. A basket cuts across it and the fiber rides through.
Apples, carrots, beets, cucumber, peeled citrusEither -- centrifugal if you want speedDense watery produce suits both mechanisms, and a 3 in chute removes the chopping.
You are not sure yetCold pressIt covers both lists. The only cost is a slower morning.
Mostly whole orangesNeither -- see citrus juicersA $40 reamer does citrus better than either mechanism here.

What spending more would actually buy

It is worth being specific, because the upgrade pitch is usually vague. Crossing into the $400-plus band buys: a hands-free hopper so you are not feeding the machine piece by piece, a wider chute so you chop less, a strainer-free design so you wash less, and a 15-year warranty instead of one to three.

It does not buy a documented yield advantage, because nobody in that tier publishes a comparable yield figure. We looked at every manufacturer page for every machine on this site and that is simply not information that exists. So the upgrade is a convenience purchase, and whether it is worth $400 depends entirely on whether you juice daily or weekly. Best value juicers argues that question out.

The picks in full

1. Best under $200 overall

Cuisinart Easy Clean Slow Juicer

Cuisinart CSJ-300 · $100–200 · Our score 7.7/10

Cleanup is the thing that kills juicing habits, and this is the cheapest machine that attacks it structurally: a mesh-free easy-clean filter, so the part everybody hates scrubbing is simply absent. Cuisinart also states a limited 3-year warranty -- triple what Ninja and Nutribullet give you in the same band -- and a 1.5 L capacity that is generous for the price. Cuisinart publishes 200 W but no RPM anywhere we could find, so it cannot be compared on speed, and mesh-free filters generally trade a little fine extraction for easier washing.

What works

  • No mesh screen, so the part most people hate washing is simply absent
  • 3-year warranty, triple what Ninja and Nutribullet quote
  • 1.5 L capacity is generous for the price

What does not

  • Cuisinart publishes no RPM, so you cannot compare its speed to anything
  • No yield figure of any kind
  • Mesh-free filters generally trade some fine extraction for easier washing

Skip this if: You want a published speed figure before you buy. Cuisinart does not state an RPM for this model anywhere we could find.

2. Best pulp control under $200

Ninja NeverClog JC151

Ninja JC151 · $100–200 · Our score 7.9/10

Ninja states two swappable pulp filters, which is genuine choice rather than a marketing line, and every removable part is dishwasher safe. If you do not yet know whether you want pulp in the glass, this is the machine that lets you decide after buying rather than before. Ninja publishes 150 W and no RPM, the jug is 24 to 30 oz, and the US warranty is one year.

What works

  • Genuine pulp choice: two filters, not a marketing claim
  • Dishwasher-safe removable parts
  • Widely stocked at the big retailers, so it is easy to find and easy to return

What does not

  • 1-year US warranty
  • Ninja publishes no RPM, so it cannot be compared on speed
  • 24-30 oz jug means emptying on bigger batches

Skip this if: You want a long warranty. Ninja covers this for one year in the US, against 15 on the premium verticals.

3. Smallest footprint in the band

Nutribullet Slow Juicer

Nutribullet NBJ50300 · $100–200 · Our score 7.4/10

17 in tall and 6.25 in wide, which matters more than most spec sheets admit: a juicer that fits on the counter gets used, and one that goes in a cupboard does not. Nutribullet states 65 RPM, 150 W and a reverse function for clearing jams. The 24 oz catch cup is the limitation if you juice for more than one person, and the warranty is one year.

Nutribullet states 65 RPM, 150 W, with a reverse functionManufacturer claim: Nutribullet · checked 2026-10-02

What works

  • Cold press mechanics at a centrifugal-adjacent price
  • Reverse function, which is how you clear a celery jam
  • Small footprint at 17 in tall and 6.25 in wide

What does not

  • 1-year warranty against 15 years on the premium verticals
  • 24 oz catch cup forces breaks on bigger batches
  • No published yield, pulp or cleanup figures

Skip this if: You juice for more than one person. A 24 oz container means stopping and emptying mid-session.

4. Best fast juicer under $200

Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE98XL

Breville JE98XL · $100–200 · Our score 6.3/10

If speed is the priority and greens are not, Breville's dual-speed 850 W machine with a 3 in feed tube will have a glass poured while a slow juicer is still grinding. Whole apples go in whole. It foams, as all centrifugal machines do -- hence the froth separator in the carafe -- and the 1-year warranty is short for the price. The mechanism is wrong for celery and kale, which is the whole reason the rest of this page exists.

Speed
Breville states dual speed: 6,500 RPM low and 12,000 RPM high, 850 WManufacturer claim: Breville · checked 2026-10-02

What works

  • 3 in chute takes whole apples, so there is no chopping
  • Two speeds, so soft fruit is not pulverized
  • Fast enough that a glass takes a couple of minutes end to end

What does not

  • Poor at celery and leafy greens by mechanism, not by tuning
  • Foam and faster oxidation are inherent to high-speed spinning
  • 1-year warranty

Skip this if: Celery or leafy greens are the reason you are buying. A spinning basket rides long fibers instead of crushing them.

Also consider

If your budget could stretch, the $200-300 band is where Omega's 15-year warranties start, and it is a real step up in expected lifespan rather than in features. If $200 is firm but you want cold press and the picks above are unavailable, under $100 has exactly one masticating option. And if cleanup is the deciding factor above everything else, the easiest juicers to clean ranks purely on that.

Questions people ask

Can you get a real cold press juicer under $200?
Yes, and there is now a choice of them. Cuisinart's mesh-free CSJ-300, Ninja's JC151 and Nutribullet's 65 RPM slow juicer are all genuine masticating machines in this band. The compromise is warranty length rather than mechanism.
What is the best juicer under $200 for celery?
Any of the three cold press machines here, because the auger mechanism is what celery needs. A reverse function helps specifically with celery jams, and Nutribullet states one. Juicers for celery goes into the technique as well as the machine.
Is it worth paying more than $200 for a juicer?
If you juice daily, probably -- the premium band buys hands-free hoppers, wider chutes, strainer-free cleaning and 15-year warranties, and all of those reduce the friction that makes people stop. If you juice occasionally, no. There is no published evidence of a yield difference either way.
Which juicer under $200 is easiest to clean?
Cuisinart's CSJ-300, because the mesh screen most people dread washing is not there. Ninja's JC151 is the next best answer for a different reason: every removable part is dishwasher safe per Ninja, so the washing is not yours to do.
Does a cheaper juicer produce less juice?
There is no published evidence that it does, within the same mechanism. No manufacturer at any price states a comparable yield figure, so a claim that a $600 machine out-yields a $160 one of the same type is not something anyone can currently support.
