What this site is, what it is not, and the limits of what we can promise you.

What this site is

An independent publication about juicers. We research, compare and recommend kitchen appliances, and we earn affiliate commission when readers buy through our links -- which is set out in full on the affiliate disclosure.

We do not sell juicers. We hold no stock, process no orders and provide no warranty on any product mentioned here. Every purchase happens at a third-party retailer under that retailer's terms.

What this site is not

  • Not professional advice. Nothing here is medical, nutritional, dietary, legal or financial advice. We write about machines, and we hold no credentials in any of those fields.
  • Not health guidance. We make no claims about what juice does or does not do for you, in either direction. If you have a health question about juicing, ask a qualified professional.
  • Not product testing. We do not test juicers and we say so throughout. Figures here come from manufacturer documentation or cited third-party tests, each labeled on the page -- see how we pick.
  • Not a warranty service. For a fault, a return or a warranty claim, contact the manufacturer or the retailer you bought from.

Accuracy, and its limits

We take accuracy seriously -- it is the entire proposition of this site -- and we still cannot guarantee it. Specifications change between model revisions, manufacturers edit their own pages, retailers change prices and availability, and products are discontinued.

So: verify anything that matters to your purchase on the retailer's or manufacturer's own page before you buy. Every page here links its sources for exactly that reason. Content is provided on an as-is basis, and we make no warranty that it is complete, current or error-free.

If you find an error, tell us at contact@augerandpulp.com. Where a factual claim changes, the page carries a dated correction note rather than being quietly edited.

Prices and availability

We do not publish prices. Where we describe a price band, it is derived from retailer listings observed on a stated date and it may be out of date by the time you read it. The price you pay is whatever the retailer shows at the moment of purchase, and we have no control over or responsibility for it.

This site links to retailers, manufacturers and other publications. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their products or their privacy practices. Once you leave this site, the terms and privacy policy of the destination apply.

A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site, and a citation link in particular is there because it is a source we are relying on rather than a site we are vouching for in general.

Intellectual property

The text, structure, tables and editorial judgments on this site are the property of MadGrey LLC. Photography is licensed stock, used under license. Brand names, model numbers and trademarks referred to here belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively, for identification -- their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those brands.

You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Please do not republish whole pages or reproduce our comparison tables wholesale.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use automated systems to scrape this site at a rate that degrades it for other readers.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security.
  • Do not submit abusive, unlawful or deliberately misleading content through the contact form.
  • Do not misrepresent yourself as affiliated with Auger & Pulp or MadGrey LLC.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MadGrey LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from a purchasing decision made on the basis of it. That includes loss arising from an inaccuracy, an out-of-date specification, or a product not performing as a manufacturer claimed.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
