Two brands, two philosophies. Hurom removes the strainer. Kuvings removes the chopping.

Hurom's engineering goes into cleaning. Kuvings' goes into feeding. Both make premium vertical cold press juicers at similar prices, and the difference between them is consistent enough across their ranges to be a brand-level choice rather than a model-level one.

Hurom's approach: remove the strainer
The Easy Clean range's defining feature is the absence of a mesh strainer -- Hurom markets it as Scrub-Free Cleaning, and it is the strongest structural answer to the cleanup problem on the market. For the H400 Hurom states 90 RPM, 150 W, a 45 mm chute, 14.8 lb, and 15 years on motor and parts.
That parts cover is the quietly impressive number. Most brands warrant the motor for a long period and the parts for a short one; Hurom covers both for 15 years, and parts are what actually wear out.
Hurom also claims the H400 has the highest yield and least pulp of any Easy Clean model. That is scoped to Hurom's own range, carries no figure, and we found nothing independent verifying it.
Kuvings' approach: remove the chopping
Kuvings competes on chutes. For the REVO830 it states a 3.5 in wide chute plus a 1.75 in auto-cut chute for celery and carrots -- the widest cold press chute in our registry alongside a narrow controlled one. For the AUTO10 it states a 100 oz hands-free hopper and a motor rated for 45 minutes of continuous running.
Both machines state 50 RPM and 240 W, and Kuvings USA quotes a 15-year limited warranty on both. One caution worth repeating: regional sellers list considerably shorter terms for Kuvings machines, so read the warranty on the listing you actually buy from rather than the brand page.
Side by side at brand level
| Hurom | Kuvings | |
|---|---|---|
| Signature feature | Strainer-free Easy Clean design | Wide plus auto-cut chutes; hands-free hopper on AUTO10 |
| Speed | 90 RPM (H400) | 50 RPM (REVO830, AUTO10) |
| Power | 150 W (H400) | 240 W (REVO830, AUTO10) |
| Chute | 45 mm (H400) | 3.5 in plus 1.75 in auto-cut (REVO830) |
| Warranty | 15 years motor and parts | 15-year limited on US listings; regional terms vary |
| Best for | People who stopped juicing over cleanup | People who stopped juicing over prep |
Note the speed and power inversion: Kuvings is slower and more powerful on paper, Hurom faster and lighter on power. Neither publishes a yield figure, so there is no way to translate that into extraction.
Choose Hurom if
- Cleanup is what ended your last juicing habit. No mesh strainer is a structural fix, not a marketing claim.
- You want the longest parts cover available. 15 years on parts rather than on the motor alone.
- You want a lighter machine. 14.8 lb for the H400 against heavier Kuvings verticals.
- You are content to chop. The 45 mm chute means prep every session.
Choose Kuvings if
- Celery is a main ingredient. The 1.75 in auto-cut chute is engineered for it specifically.
- You want to feed whole fruit. 3.5 in is the widest cold press chute we found.
- You batch for a household. The AUTO10's 100 oz hopper and 45-minute continuous rating are built for volume.
- You will check the seller's warranty terms rather than assuming the brand page figure.

Our verdict
It genuinely depends on which part you resent, which is why this page does not pick a winner outright. If you have owned a juicer and abandoned it, think about why. Cleanup, and Hurom's strainer-free design is the better answer. Chopping or standing at the machine, and Kuvings' chutes and hopper are.
If you want the third premium brand in the comparison, Nama vs Kuvings vs Hurom juicers puts all three side by side.
What neither brand publishes
Worth setting out, because at this price you would reasonably expect better documentation than you get from either company.
| Specification | Hurom | Kuvings |
|---|---|---|
| Juice yield, as a comparable figure | No -- only a within-range claim for the Easy Clean line | No |
| Cleanup time in minutes | No -- "Scrub-Free Cleaning" is a design description | No |
| Decibel level | No | No -- "noise-reduction motor", with no number |
| Dimensions and weight | Yes -- 169 x 261 x 471 mm, 6.7 kg for the H400 | Not on the pages we checked |
| Speed in RPM | Yes -- 90 RPM | Yes -- 50 RPM |
| Chute measurement | Yes -- 45 mm | Yes -- 3.5 in plus 1.75 in auto-cut |
| Warranty | Yes -- 15 years, motor and parts | 15 years on the US listing; shorter at some regional sellers |
Hurom is the more transparent of the two on physical specifications: it publishes dimensions and weight where Kuvings does not, which matters when you are measuring a counter. Kuvings is the more transparent on feeding, with two chute measurements rather than one.
The warranty row is the one to act on. Read the warranty on the listing you actually buy from, not the brand page -- Kuvings' regional sellers quote materially shorter terms than Kuvings USA, and at this price that difference is worth more than any feature on either machine.
