Kuvings REVO830 Review

A wide chute for whole fruit and a narrow auto-cut chute for celery. The only machine engineered for both problems.

The REVO830's two chutes are the product. A 3.5 in opening takes whole fruit with no chopping, and a separate 1.75 in auto-cut chute feeds celery and carrots in a controlled way that stops long strands bridging and wrapping the auger. No other machine we cover addresses both problems at once.

What Kuvings states

  • 50 RPM, the slow end of vertical cold press.
  • 240 W, described as a noise-reduction motor -- with no decibel figure attached.
  • A 3.5 in extra-wide feed chute that accommodates whole ingredients.
  • A 1.75 in auto-cut chute, so carrots and celery can be inserted without pre-cutting.
  • A 15-year limited warranty on the Kuvings USA listing. Regional sellers list 2 years on juicing parts with a 10-year motor, so the terms you get depend on where you buy.

Why the narrow chute is the clever part

Everybody understands why a wide chute is good. The narrow one needs explaining, because it looks like a downgrade.

Celery jams cold press juicers because long strands wrap the auger rather than being carried along it, and because a bundle of stalks dropped into a wide opening can bridge across it instead of descending. A narrow chute forces stalks in one or two at a time, in line with the auger, which is precisely the controlled feed that prevents both failure modes.

So this is not a wide chute with a smaller option. It is two different feeding mechanisms for two different produce shapes, and it is the most genuinely thoughtful piece of engineering on any machine in our registry. See juicers for celery for why that problem is worth solving.

The warranty caveat

Kuvings USA states a 15-year limited warranty. Other regional sellers of the same model list 2 years on juicing parts, excluding strainers, with a 10-year motor warranty. Those are materially different promises.

We are not going to guess which applies to you. Read the warranty on the listing you actually buy from, not the brand page, and if the difference matters to your decision then buying from an authorized US seller is the way to get the longer term. This kind of regional divergence is common enough in this category that we flag it on AMZCHEF and Ninja too.

Who this is for

Somebody for whom celery is the main event, and who does not want to spend two minutes cutting stalks to length every morning. Also somebody who juices a mix of celery and whole hard fruit, because the two chutes genuinely cover both without compromise.

And somebody who has decided prep time is what would stop them. That is a different complaint from cleanup, and this is the machine for it.

Who should skip it

Anybody with limited clearance above the counter. This is a tall vertical machine and the wide chute only helps if you have room above it to drop whole fruit in -- measure the gap between your worktop and the wall cabinet before ordering.

Also skip it if cleanup rather than prep is the problem. The REVO830 has a conventional mesh strainer, and Hurom's H400 removes that entirely for similar money.

A narrow controlled chute is counter-intuitive and it is exactly what celery needs.

Where it appears on this site

The REVO830 is our top pick on juicers for celery, the best vertical slow juicers and juicers for carrots, and it appears on best juicers and large chute juicers. Head-to-heads: Kuvings REVO830 vs Nama J2 and Hurom vs Kuvings juicers.

Kuvings REVO830

Kuvings REVO830 · $400+ · Our score 7.7/10

Kuvings states a 3.5 in wide chute -- the widest cold press chute in our registry -- plus a 1.75 in auto-cut chute specified for celery and carrots. That second chute is the only feature in this entire category engineered directly at the celery clogging problem. 50 RPM, 240 W, and a 15-year limited warranty on the Kuvings USA listing, though regional sellers quote shorter terms, so read the listing you buy from.

What works

  • Two chutes: whole fruit in the wide one, stringy produce in the narrow auto-cut one
  • The narrow chute is the one feature aimed squarely at celery clogging
  • 15-year warranty on the US listing

What does not

  • Warranty length differs by region - check the seller's terms, not the brand page
  • No published yield or cleanup-time figure to compare against rivals
  • Top of the price range

Skip this if: Counter height is tight - this is a tall vertical machine and it needs clearance above the chute to load whole fruit.

Questions people ask

What makes the Kuvings REVO830 different?
Two chutes. Kuvings states a 3.5 in wide chute for whole fruit and a separate 1.75 in auto-cut chute specified for celery and carrots. No other machine we cover addresses both prep and clogging at once.
Is the REVO830 good for celery?
It is the best machine we cover for celery, because the narrow auto-cut chute forces stalks into the auger in a controlled way rather than letting a bundle bridge or wrap.
What is the Kuvings REVO830's warranty?
Kuvings USA states a 15-year limited warranty. Some regional sellers list 2 years on juicing parts with a 10-year motor, so read the warranty on the listing you actually buy from.
How loud is the Kuvings REVO830?
Kuvings describes the motor as noise-reduction but publishes no decibel figure, so there is nothing to compare. It runs at 50 RPM, which is slow and generally quiet for a juicer.
Will the REVO830 fit under my kitchen cabinets?
Check carefully. It is a tall vertical machine and the wide chute only helps if there is clearance above it to drop whole fruit in. Measure the gap between counter and cabinet before ordering.
