Cuisinart Easy Clean Slow Juicer Review
A mesh-free filter is a premium cleanup feature at a mid-range price. Cuisinart also will not tell you how fast it turns.

The mesh-free filter is the reason to buy this machine, and the missing RPM figure is the reason to hesitate. A design with no fine screen removes the slowest part of cleaning a cold press juicer, and Cuisinart is the cheapest route to it. But a juicer whose manufacturer will not state its speed is a juicer you cannot compare.

What Cuisinart states
- A mesh-free easy-clean filter.
- 200 W.
- 1.5 L capacity.
- A limited 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use.
- Model CSJ-300 / CSJ-300P1, marketed as Juice Fusion.
And what it does not state: an RPM figure. We checked Cuisinart's own product pages and the instruction manual, and no rotational speed is published for this model. That is unusual even by this category's standards -- most brands at least publish a speed.
Why mesh-free matters
On a conventional cold press juicer everything rinses in seconds except the fine mesh screen, where pulp dries into the perforations and has to be dislodged with a brush. It is the single component that makes people describe cleaning a juicer as a chore, and it is the reason cleanup is the most common cause of abandoned juicers.
Removing the screen entirely is the structural answer. Hurom does it in the H400's Easy Clean drum at premium prices; Cuisinart does it here for a fraction of that. The execution is less refined, but the mechanism is the same idea and the benefit is real.
The trade: a fine screen is what holds back very fine pulp. Without one you generally get slightly more sediment in the glass and slightly wetter pulp in the bin. Cuisinart publishes no figure for that, so we describe it rather than quantify it. Juicer pulp explained covers what that means in practice.
The 3-year warranty is better than it looks
At this price the competition quotes one year: Ninja states 1 year in the US, Nutribullet 1 year. Cuisinart's limited 3-year warranty is three times that, and it is longer than Breville quotes on machines costing twice as much.
It is still well short of the 15 years Omega, Hurom and Kuvings offer at the premium end, so this is not a lifetime machine. But within its band it is the most confident warranty statement available.
Who this is for
Somebody whose main objection to juicing is washing up, and who is not prepared to spend premium money to fix it. That is a large and sensible group, and this is the machine for them.
Also somebody who wants the longest warranty available under $200, and somebody juicing for more than one person -- the 1.5 L capacity is generous next to Nutribullet's 24 oz and Ninja's 24-30 oz.
Who should skip it
Anybody who wants to compare specifications before buying. The missing RPM is a genuine problem: you cannot tell whether this is a 45 RPM machine or a 90 RPM one, and those behave differently on soft produce. If a published speed matters to you, Nutribullet's 65 RPM is the transparent alternative at a lower price.
Also skip it if you want clear, sediment-free juice, or if you juice a lot of wheatgrass -- a fine screen is exactly what those want, and this machine does not have one.

Cuisinart Easy Clean Slow Juicer
Cuisinart CSJ-300 · $100–200 · Our score 7.7/10
Cuisinart states a mesh-free easy-clean filter, 200 W, a 1.5 L capacity and a limited 3-year warranty -- triple what Ninja and Nutribullet quote at similar money. Removing the mesh screen is the same structural answer to cleanup that Hurom charges three times as much for. The gap: Cuisinart publishes no RPM figure at all, so this machine cannot be compared with anything on speed.
