AMZCHEF ZM1501 Review
Masticating mechanics under $100, and the only machine on this site that publishes a decibel figure.

We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. It does not change what we recommend or the order we rank things in. Full disclosure.
This is the only masticating juicer we found consistently listed under $100, which makes it the only sub-$100 route to juicing celery and leafy greens properly. It is also, remarkably, the only machine in our entire registry that publishes a decibel figure -- something Nama, Kuvings, Hurom and Omega all decline to do at six times the price.

What AMZCHEF states
- 90 RPM.
- 150 W, 120 V.
- A reverse function.
- Seven spiral masticators for maximum juice yield -- a marketing claim with no figure attached.
- Operation below 60 decibels.
- 12 x 7 x 10 in.
- A 2-year limited warranty on the brand store, with 1 year shown on some retail listings and 3 years advertised through the official store.
The noise figure, and why it stands out
We looked for a published decibel level on every manufacturer page we cite for this site. AMZCHEF is the only brand that provides one. Breville makes a relative claim -- noise reduction of 40 percent on the BJE830 -- with no number and no baseline. Kuvings describes a "noise-reduction motor" with no figure. Everybody else publishes nothing.
That matters in two ways. Practically, if quiet operation is a hard requirement -- an apartment, a shared wall, an early start -- this is the only machine where you have a number to work with. And as a signal, a sub-$100 brand publishing a spec that premium brands withhold is worth noticing.
The caveat: it is AMZCHEF's own claim with no stated test method, and we found no independent verification. We report it as a manufacturer claim, which is what it is. The quietest juicers covers the whole picture.
The warranty confusion
This is the clearest reason to buy carefully. AMZCHEF's brand store states 2 years; some third-party retail listings show 1 year; and the official store advertises 3 years. Those are three different promises for the same machine.
Read the warranty on the listing you are actually buying from. We cannot tell you which applies to your purchase because it depends where you buy, and we are not going to pick the most flattering figure and present it as the specification. The same pattern appears with Kuvings and Ninja, which is why we flag it on their reviews too.
What under $100 actually buys here
Real masticating mechanics. At 90 RPM with an auger and a screen, this machine handles celery and leafy greens the way a $600 vertical does -- not as well built, but mechanically correct, which is the thing a cheap centrifugal machine can never be.
It also has the feature we weight most heavily for beginners: a reverse function, which clears a wrapped auger in seconds. Only one other machine in our registry states one.
Who this is for
Somebody who wants to find out whether a daily juice habit will stick, and who wants to find out on the right mechanism. Spending under $100 to learn that about yourself is a sound decision even if you replace the machine later.
Also somebody for whom noise is the binding constraint and the budget is firm, because this is the only machine where you have a published figure.
Who should skip it
Anybody expecting premium build. The parts are light, and the warranty is short and inconsistently stated. Anybody who already knows juicing is a long-term habit -- at that point Omega's J8006HDS and 15 years of cover is the better allocation.
And anybody juicing hard carrots and beets daily: 150 W with a narrow chute means a lot of prep and a motor working hard.

AMZCHEF ZM1501 · Under $100 · Our score 7.1/10
AMZCHEF states 90 RPM, 150 W, a reverse function, seven spiral masticators and -- uniquely in our registry -- operation below 60 decibels. That makes it the only machine on this site, at any price, that publishes a noise figure. Treat it as a trial machine: light parts, and warranty terms that differ between the AMZCHEF store (2 to 3 years) and third-party listings (1 year).

What works
- Masticating mechanics under $100
- One of very few machines at any price that publishes a decibel figure
- Reverse function for clearing jams
What does not
- Warranty terms differ between the brand store and third-party listings - read the one you buy from
- Small chute, so prep is heavy
- No yield or cleanup figure published
Skip this if: You expect premium build. At this price the warranty is short and the parts are light - treat it as a trial machine.
